I am jenny jacobs, and i am the creator of defying dementia.
After over twenty years in Speech Language Pathology, I’ve identified my true passion as working with individuals with Dementia. After being the primary caregiver for my father as he went through his journey with Parkinson’s and Dementia, I understand the complex emotions of caring for someone who is still living while also watching who they are slip away.
It is because of this experience that I’ve developed Defying Dementia, and cannot wait to share it with those who need it.
